During zazenkai we sit zazen for a total of 5 periods in the morning (30 minutes, with kinhin in between). Afterwards we cook and have lunch together.

March 28-30: Workshop “Qigong and Neidan – 8 Extraordinary Meridians”
We start on Friday evening with a lecture. On Saturday, interactive phases alternate with input from workshop leaders. On Sunday morning there will be a summary and final round as well as lunch together.
We deal with the 8 extraordinary meridians and their effects on body/mind/breath. Working with these meridians can be particularly helpful in dealing with psycho-emotional blockages.

May 1st-May 4th: Sesshin (Soto Zen Style)
Sesshins are intense periods of practice in which we concentrate entirely on practice in its various forms. They include zazen, kinhin and samu as well as brief morning services, dharma talks, dokusan and eating from three bowls (oryoki). Exercise sessions such as qigong or longer periods of kinhin are also part of the program.
